not sure about RB1. We tried to calibrate it with our system but it still didn't work. When we got this track pack and tried to use it, the sound was AWFUL and it didn't work right. So DON'T buy this, just purchase the songs online through the game interface instead. I think it only works with Rock Band 1.
Which I know you can do with RB2. as in, when we would hit the notes, it would only recognize like half of them. or else it just simply did not like our system set-up or something. The only thing I can suggest is, do NOT buy this if you own Rock Band 2. We just recently bought Rock Band 2, and we were not realizing that the way you're supposed to add new songs with Rock Band 2 is to purchase them online through the game interface.
We could not figure out what the problem was, because we are having no issues at all with the Rock Band 2 game or with Beatles Rock Band.So the only thing we could figure is either a) this track pack is meant for Rock Band 1 only, or b) it didn't like our system setup for some unknown reason (even though RB2 and Beatles RB work just fine).
Guitar Hero instruments do not work with this game. thanks Activision. I own rock band 2 for the wii, and bought this at teh same time I bought it. I was under the remote impression that you could import songs from RB1 to RB2, but not on the wii. way to ruin this game for wii players.DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU OWN A ROCKBAND INSTRUMENT.
So it's really just a matter of opinion as to whether you like the songs that this game contains. otherwise, don't bother wasting your money. If you are considering buying this, you already know what Rock Band is. We got this as a gift and I believe we only used it once or twice.Bottom line: if you like most of the included songs, go for it.
well worth the 50 bucks. cause at first we were totally lost. our "Group" is called The 3 Blind Mice. and i found i actually sing ok. Just got this and we had a ball it is a bit more challenging than the first. the songs at times got me tongue tied but was soo much fun. but now my sister ROCKS my best friend JAMS.
this as a few good songs but I also bought rock bang 2,and that is much better game a deal for the price.
